Issue #225 of Uncanny X-Men was published in January 1988. The story is titled “False Dawn” and is written by Chris Claremont. The issue features the X-Men, including Wolverine, Rogue, Psylocke, Colossus, Dazzler, Havok, and Longshot, who are in Dallas, Texas, to investigate why Destiny’s visions of their future are of their deaths in this city. They first decide to check out Eagle Plaza, the former home of Forge. After Rogue does a flyby and reports to Wolverine that the place looks deserted, Logan decides to go inside and investigate. However, he is cut down by lasers and the team rescues him. They are then ambushed by Freedom Force outside, and a big fight ensues. Colossus teleports in, and then a huge hole in the sky appears over their location. The issue ends with the X-Men trapped in the building, with Destiny predicting that by dawn, anyone in that building will be dead.  Used.
