G.I Joe #53 See photos for condition.  G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero Vol 1 #53”, also known as “Pit-Fall”, is a comic book issue that was released on August 5, 1986. The story was written by Larry Hama, with art by Rod Whigham and Andy Mushynsky. The plot revolves around the Joes, who are temporarily staying with the Chaplain’s assistants while their base is closed and sealed. Hawk, a key character, accompanies a team from the Special Committee, comprised of Generals Ryan and Hollingsworth and Admiral Dyson, to inspect the deactivated base.

In an attempt to win the loyalty of the Cobra troops, Cobra Commander leads an attack on the GI Joe base. The Joes have been suspended, so as Cobra attacks they are mostly attacking a deserted base. Hawk, along with a couple of Generals and an Admiral, fight a losing battle inside.  Used.
