Daredevil #286 is a comic book published by Marvel Comics in 1990. The issue is titled “The Thief” and was written by Ann Nocenti with art by Greg Capullo and Al Williamson. The story features Daredevil, who has recently retired from his vigilante activities, trying to find a new purpose in life. He decides to become a professional boxer and starts training for his first match. Meanwhile, Bullseye, one of Daredevil’s archenemies, takes advantage of Daredevil’s absence to commit crimes while disguised as the hero.

 Daredevil’s boxing career is cut short when he discovers that Bullseye is impersonating him and using his reputation to commit crimes.  Used.
