Uncanny X-Men #266 is a comic book published by Marvel Comics in August 1990. It was written by Chris Claremont and illustrated by Mike Collins, Josef Rubinstein, and Brad Vancata. The cover art was created by Andy Kubert and Pat Brosseau.

The issue introduces a new character named Gambit, who comes to the aid of a young Storm after she falls into a trap set by the Shadow King. Gambit is a charismatic mutant thief with the power to manipulate kinetic energy. The two team up to pull off a heist, but their escape is complicated by the Shadow King’s minions.

The comic book is part of the larger X-Men franchise, which follows the adventures of a group of mutants with extraordinary abilities. The X-Men are led by Professor Charles Xavier, who trains them to use their powers for good and protect humanity from evil mutants and other threats.  Used.
