Issue #258 of Uncanny X-Men was published in February 1990. The story is titled “Broken Chains” and is written by Chris Claremont. The issue features the X-Men, including Wolverine, Psylocke, and Jubilee, who are fighting against the Hand, a mysterious ninja organization that works under the Mandarin. Wolverine has been captured by the Hand and is being held in a sensory deprivation tank. Psylocke tries to brainwash him for the Hand. Meanwhile, Jubilee starts a scene and is caught and led away by the Mandarin. A short while later, chaos ensues after Psylocke forges a mental connection with Wolverine through her psychic blade.  Used.
