Fantastic Four #231 1981 titled “Nightmare in the Negative Zone!”, takes readers on a cosmic rollercoaster. Scripted by Doug Moench and featuring art by Bill Sienkiewicz, Joe Sinnott, and Jerome Moore, this issue plunges the Fantastic Four into a dire situation.

The good news: Mr. Fantastic has removed the threat of the Ebon Seeker from Earth. The bad news: Reed Richards had to send an entire city block surrounding the Baxter Building into the Negative Zone to do it. Needless to say, the transplanted New Yorkers are not happy! As the natives grow restless, Reed devises a plan to get everyone back to Manhattan. But this plan must also include defeating a new Negative Zone villain—Stygorr!  Used.
